I also made some more animations of Beat It, which left me kinda exhausted. I won't be making more anytime soon but you can request if you want. Can't promise anything though.

I can't belive how many old challenges entries I have! This is one of my longest post :O Well, some of these icons are really, really old so they are kinda crappy and some are crappy so sorry for that. I wish I could give some new icons but I don't have time or inspiration for that matter.

That's right. I stopped posting a few weeks ago because I have been preparing some classes; I'm also starting college again in two weeks so I thought it would be apropiate to make an hiatus.
I decided to make it a semi hiatus because I'm working in some new icons and I have TONS of icontests entries in my computer, and whenever I have time I'll post them.
While I was searching pictures for the banner, I found some cool back to school and school objects pictures that I might use to make icons. As Summer it's almost ending here, I began knitting again so I may include something knitting related too.

Así es. Deje de postear hace algunas semanas ya porque estuve preparando algunas clases; tambien empiezo con la facu de nuevo en dos semanas asi que me parecio apropiado hacer un hiatus.
Decidi hacer un semi hiatus porque estoy trabajando en algunos iconos nuevos y tengo un MONTON de iconos que hice para concursos en mi pc, y en cuanto tenga un tiempo los posteare.
Mientras estaba buscando fotos para hacer el banner, encontré algunas fotos de la vuelta al cole que probablemente use para hacer iconos. Como el verano esta terminando, empece a tejer de nuevo asi que puede que incluya algo relacionado al tejido tambien.

I am trying to stay away from the Harry Potter book since I had already cried my eyes out, so I'm posting some icons. The first part consists on some stock icons (I saved LOTS of pictures so this is the first part) and the second part has icons of the gorgeous Helena Bonham Carter. Someone please fire her from the upcoming Harry Potter movie, I'm becaming a fan of hers so I can't see her as Bellatrix.
Also, this is the first time I include icons with my very own colorings, I usually have a tutorial to base and I change the settings according to the picture itself. I know they are crappy so I only included three :)
I hope you guys like them and keep suggesting stock themes :D

Estoy tratando de mantenerme alejada del libro de Harry Potter porque ya me llore la vida, asi que voy a postear algunos iconos. La primer parte consta de algunos iconos de stock (encontre un MONTON de fotos asi que esta va a ser la primera parte) y la segunda parte tiene como tema a la hermosa Helena Bonham Carter. Alguien que por favor la heche de la proxima pelicula de Harry Potter, me estoy volviendo una fan y no la puedo ver como Bellatrix.
Tambien, esta es la primera vez que incluyo iconos con colorings enteramente mios, usualmente tengo un tutorial como base y cambio los valores segun lo que requiera la foto. Se que son bastante feos y por eso inclui tres nada mas :)

I don't know if you remeber but I entered in the Valentine's contest at ICONS and I WON!!! :O :O :O And that means I get a paid account for two months and 100 user pictures!!!!! I'm sooooooooooooooooooo happy!! I just wanna thank pixel_876 and everyone at ICONS ♥ ♥ . I will have to make more icons to fill the 100 spaces I have! ;) I'm so happy right now I don't know what to say :D

Yesterday was Lau's birthday (akalaurie_x) so to honor her, I made some icons of two of her favourite girls: Kirsten Dunst and Scarlett Johansson.
I play a lot with textures and coloring in this batch so the results are interesting and some are kinda crappy but please criticize them and tell me what you think :D

Ayer fue el cumple de Lau (laurie_x) asi que para honrarla, hice algunos iconos de dos de sus chicas favoritas: Kirsten Dunst and Scarlett Johansson.
Jugue mucho con texturas y coloring para este post asi que los resultados son interesantes y algunos son medios feos pero por favor critiquenlos y diganme que les parecieron :D

I think the best way to get inspired is to listen to good music, get great pictures and find some good textures. Also you can take a look to better icon-makers in order to get ideas, but more importantly you have to spend a good time trying different things. That's what I did.
My good friend Kay (thefullspectrum) wrote about donuts the other day and how hard was to her to find donut icons; guess what? I made some! ^^ And to complete the batch, as I had a Johnny Depp related week last week, I made some icons of him too.
I am REALLY proud of this batch, I hope you like it as much I do.

Creo que la mejor manera de inspirarte es escuchar buena musica, conseguir excelentes fotos y encontrar buenas texturas. Tambien podes mirar el trabajo de mejores icon-makers para obtener, pero mas que nada tenes que pasar un buen tiempo experimentando con cosas nuevas. Eso fue lo que hice.
Mi buena amiga Kay (thefullspectrum) escribio acerca de donas el otro dia, y lo dificil que le era conseguir iconos de donas; adivinen que? Hice algunos iconos! ^^
Y para completar el conjunto, como tuve una semana de Johnny Depp esta semana que pasó, hice algunos iconos de el tambien.
Estoy MUY orgullosa de este post, espero que a ustedes les guste tanto como a mí.
